Club Maintenance

Winterton Bowls club is, like many others a self-help club. We rely heavily on members taking on different roles from administrative tasks to club maintenance. The administrative tasks are routine and run right through the season.

The club maintenance is done by core team of four or five, but as with most clubs, a number of tasks rely on a turnout of a larger group of members to help on things like helping clear the debris when we do a hedge trim, to helping with painting and keeping the clubhouse and sheds in good condition. Members are notified by email of these "events" a few days beforehand and anyone willing to help will be welcomed with open arms! Please come along to these work sessions when they occur and help reduce the load on the members who are already heavily committed to the club.
